Why Ceilidh & Moor?

The Scottish word ceilidh (Kay-Lee) in Scotland and Ireland is a party with music, dancing, and often storytelling. One of your Hosts is Scottish. Moor is a play on words for More, and further symbolizes the Irish Influence as it relates to the use of the term Ceilidh. What better way to bring together and celebrate the Scottish and Irish heritage that influences our families and the greater region of Northern NY and Southern Ontario. 

Is it a REAL barn?

This is a REAL barn that has been converted to assembly space. This Barn was part of the Giles Family Dairy Farm. Fire is our greatest threat as such to preserve our structure and your safety there is no smoking in the building.

Does that premises have a on-site cut Flower Farm

Yes, in fact we do.  Lorna Burley manages Barnside Blooms @37C.  If you are a true DIY couple or group Lorna can afford you opportunity to purchase and gather in-season flowers and greens for your event with her guiding hand. https://www.facebook.com/37Cblooms/

Facility Summary

The barn event space is a two-story facility with Upper Mezzanine Lounge area.  The First Floor supports guest receiving areas, restrooms, and logistics in the form of walk-in refrigerator and kegerator.

The 2nd floor is space available for a seated event or a mingling event. Based on your planned use and due to fire codes the occupancy has to be adjusted for events to remain safe.  The Facility capacity for a seated event is an intimate 129 persons.  A mingling event where guests are free to move about and mingle the building occupancy comes in at 298 persons.

We Absolutely support leaving a vehicle overnight for retrieval the next day.
