Club 37C a Ceilidh & Moor Events Venue is a 32' x 76' Dairy Barn renovated into a seasonal social gathering facility.
Our Barn is equipped with real-time fire monitoring which is a code requirement for your attendee's safety. Effective May 2022 we have our Certificate of Occupancy that formally allows us to serve you. This barn served the Clyde Giles family for many years.
We have an estimated that over 6,000 hours of family and friends labor over the last 4 years has supported first stabilizing, then converting this into a Community Event Space. The barn was slowing sinking into the ground, and we decided to renovated it into a facility that will service the region and our community. We are saving a traditional Dairy barn and creating a place for old fashion neighboring to occur. When you stay local you support your community. If you have questions about how to renovate your barn, we are glad to share our story.
This portion of the barn serves as a small wedding party pre-flight landing area, or an alternate gathering space for intimate conversation while the loft is in full dance club mode. Fun Fact: This was the pass-through area for hay wagons that utilized a hay carrier and trolley system to pick up loose hay and place it in the loft.
Another view of the Hay Carrier Lounging area. This area features wi-fi lighting that can be customized to any color and features a fun wi-fi chandelier that can be set to candle burning lighting mode for an intimate conversational setting.
The Lavatory portion of the lady's restroom features a custom slab epoxy top with stream gravel stone inlay. The wash bowls are teak made from Teak tree burls. We had a lot of fun making this primitive slab wood hand washing station.
This is a social space on the first floor
This is the first floor receiving area that collects your guests as they enter. It offers easy conversation area, and nicely positioned in the old barn alley to afford folks access to rest rooms and the stairway entry to the Loft main Event Space.
We refer to this Mezzanine lounge as the "VI LOUNGE" as many local folks recall the recycled "Village Inn Booth Seating" that so many of us in the region sat comfortably on while we were historically afforded local fine dining at the Village Inn in Massena for many years.
So we ask why can't a family restroom be a whimsical place? We suggest that it can be, The Scottish love their fairies.
Here is a view of the men's room that features a custom designed trough urinal. We truly believe that a barn based social event needs ample capacity and class to round out a truly rememberable on-farm type event. Again, we worked extremely hard to provide a NO Port-Potty facility and assure women in attendance that they will not need to stand in line to access a restroom at a barn event.
This is a view of the 2nd floor loft bar. The bar is nestled into the loft neatly and has 12 taps as part of a kegerator system, and includes 5 service refrigerators, a wine refrigerator. The bar has 3 sinks for efficiency, and a small ice chest cooler is located just in back in the back-office support area that is home to the mechanicals for the walk-in refrigeration units on the first floor.
Here is a nicely staged flower bar that was arranged by Barnside Blooms to support a Baby Shower. Please note the Edison Light beam is a custom fabricated primitive piece that can be dimmed to create the warmest of moods in your event setting.
